Founded over 40 years ago by Greek immigrants, Pete and Effie Ampatzis, Pete’s Famous Pizza has become a true sensation in Philadelphia. Starting out with a small outlet, Dragon Style Pizza, the couple’s passion for delicious food and hard work soon paid off. They opened a new location in 1980, just a few meters away, and the rest is history.
Fast forward to today, and the business is still going strong, with three locations serving up the most delicious pizza, pastas, and sandwiches in town. Peter Kada, the 3rd generation owner, is proud to carry on his grandparents’ legacy.
